Resale Condo | 1475 sqft
Here, the design exploration revolves around the British Colonial concept; it is relaxed, genteel, and traveled.
This home is a vast, melting pot of elements; a reflection of Singapore's melting pot of cultures originating from the diversity of the vibrant trade landscape that blossomed in the British Colonial era. From dark-stained timbre to white-washed walls, from ornate wooden detailing to brass finishes, every corner is a homage to British Colonial architectural design. With symmetry as the backbone characteristic of the design, the home is layered with pure white linens and an abundance of indoor greenery to cool and refresh the space.

Initially, the spiral staircase was a metallic structure that stood out as a sore thumb in the design. Due to the harshness and reflective nature of metal, it did not fit the quietly sophisticated, serene ambience the design sought to evoke. Hence, its metallic railings were replaced with a smooth, curved plywood balustrade that retained its sleek character but still remained in character of the British Colonial concept.
